The time to worry about getting your holiday gifts in the hands of your loved ones on or before Christmas is rapidly approaching.  But with the help of UPS, FedEx and the U.S. Postal Service, you can still get your gifts on time with services like ground, next day or even same-day shipping. While shopping earlier is always recommended, we understand that people live busy lives — so knowing your shipping deadlines will come in handy this holiday season.

To make things easier on you, the three largest carriers — UPS, FedEx and the U.S. Postal Service — have posted their 2022 holiday shipping deadlines. They're almost identical to 2021 deadlines — the only difference is deadlines are a day earlier this year, with Christmas falling on a Sunday. You'll need to shop three days earlier than last year to meet USPS' ground shipping delivery cutoff dates.

Another thing to note is that many retailers' have their own shipping deadlines for online purchases, so you may want to be conscious of those deadlines while you shop. Some stores will have banners or countdowns for shipping on their site to help you navigate your holiday shopping. Other than that, you can always opt for curbside or in-store pickup all the way through Christmas Eve.

Last day for ground shipping before Christmas 2022

This year, the ground shipping deadlines vary from carrier to carrier. For FedEx, the last day for ground delivery was Wednesday, Dec. 14. For USPS, the last day for ground delivery is Saturday, Dec. 17. UPS, on the other hand, suggests getting an estimate from its website based on its operating hours, holiday schedule and operational adjustments.

Every day, you hear about scammers, hackers, and thieves…

…trying to use the internet to steal your money and your financial information.

The fact is– you, me—we—can foil many of their attempts. Every day we do things to make it tough for bad guys to break into our homes and our cars. We can make it tougher for them to break into our computers, too.

Here are some way to foil a hacker and protect your financial information:

1. Install security software on your computer.

Well-known companies offer plenty of free options.

Set the software to update automatically so it can deal with any new security threats.

While you’re at it, set your operating system and web browser to update automatically, too.

If you’re not sure how, use the help function and search for “automatic updates”.

If you get a phone call, an email, a text, or a popup that says your computer has a virus or malware, don’t buy the story--

--or the security software they’re selling. It could be a trick…

… to get you to buy software that’s worthless, or even harmful.

2. Treat your financial information like cash. It’s a hot commodity. If someone asks for your financial information--

--say your Social Security, credit card, or bank account number—ask why they need it and how they’re going to protect it.

3. If you think you’ve found a good deal online,

But you aren’t familiar with the company,

Dig a little deeper.

A quick internet search with the name of the company…

… and the word “review” or “complaint” can reveal a lot.

Always look for a physical address and phone number, too. That way you know who to contact if there’s a problem.

4. Don’t provide your personal or financial information unless the website you’re on is secure. If the URL doesn’t start with https, don’t enter your financial information. That S stands for secure. It means the information you’re sending is encrypted and protected.

5. Make your passwords count. They should be at least 10 characters—and a mix of numbers, letters and special characters.

Don’t use your name, birth date or common words.

Don’t use the same password for several accounts, as tempting as that may be.

If it’s stolen, hackers can use it to access your other accounts. Keep your passwords in a secure place, and don’t share them with anyone.

6. Back up your computer files. For example, copy important files to an external hard drive on a regular basis. That way, if there’s a problem with your computer, you won’t lose everything.

Life is online. Whether you live it using a smart phone, a tablet, a laptop, or a desktop, it’s a good time to make computer security a habit.

Drive Safely in the Snow

Driving in the winter means changes in the way you drive. Snow, sleet and ice can lead to hazardous road conditions. Prepare your vehicle for the upcoming winter season with these helpful tips.

THANKSGIVING TIPS

From stuffing to brining to leftovers, everyone has a favorite Thanksgiving turkey menu. As you plan your holiday meal, follow these turkey tips from the fire safety industry. They will help you keep your Thanksgiving dinner delicious and safe.Cooking is the biggest cause of home fires and fire injuries, and Thanksgiving is the peak day for home cooking fires. So there's no better time to focus on safety.Start with these prevention tips:

  • Make your cooking area safe. Move things that can burn away from the stove. Turn pot handles toward the back so that they can't be bumped.
  • Watch what you're cooking. Use a timer when roasting a turkey or baking pies.
  • Be prepared. Keep a large pan lid or baking sheet handy in case you need to smother a pan fire.
  • Stay awake and alert while you're cooking. If you see smoke or the grease starts to boil in your pan, turn the burner off.
  • Prevent burns. Wear short sleeves when you cook, or roll them up. Don't lean over the burner. Use potholders and oven mitts to handle hot cookware.

Deep-frying turkeys has become popular in recent years. This cooking method has a lot of risks. Turkey fryers get hot all over, so they need to be handled with great care and only by an adult. They can tip over, spilling hot cooking oil. Partially frozen turkeys placed into hot fryers will cause the oil to splatter. If fryers are overfilled, the hot oil will spill over the side when the turkey is added. Even a small amount of oil on a hot burner can start a fire.If you deep-fry a turkey, place the fryer outside on a flat surface that can't burn, such as cement. Place the fryer several feet from anything that can catch fire. Don't let children or pets come anywhere near it. An adult should watch the fryer while it cooks. Use a fryer with thermostat controls. Without these controls, the oil can heat to the point of catching fire. Thaw the turkey completely before cooking it so that ice crystals won't splatter the hot oil. Use potholders and oven mitts when handling the turkey. For additional fire safety and burn prevention information, contact your local fire safety department. The goal this year is to enjoy future Thanksgiving holidays with friends and family. Safety is always first

SKY Telecom Reminds the Community of COVID19 Precautions.

SKY Telecom LLC ― SKY Telecom would like to remind the community and region that it is more important than ever to wear masks and practice social distancing. Many areas are currently experiencing an increased number of COVID‐19 cases and increased hospitalization rates.

Hospitals in the region are nearing capacity and shortages of personal protective equipment and testing supplies continue to pose a threat to health care workers and patients alike. For this reason, the medical profession is urging the public to take the simple steps we know will help stop the spread of the virus: wearing a face mask, maintaining physical distancing and washing hands.

To those of you that are already doing your part to help to stop the spread, thank you. Your actions are critical in stopping the uncontrolled transmission of COVID‐19.

SKY Telecom continues to follow a no visitor policy (with very limited exceptions) due to the increased risk of COVID‐19 exposure.

We ask that anyone in the region who has potentially been exposed to COVID‐19 and has a fever, cough, or shortness of breath call your local healthcare professional before going out in public.  Your healthcare providers are professionals who will determine if you the patient can be cared for at home or if screening is necessary.

JUNE 7, 2020 - SKY TELECOM LLC SHERIDAN WYOMING

THE COVID UPDATE

Due to increasing demand for virtual agents working from home by clients and the chance that the COVID 19 will likely resurface in August or sooner SKY Telecom LLC has decided to take our entire program to a remote agent workforce only.

This change is unprecedented but necessary in order to keep our operations running smoothly and not moving back and forth with contingency operating plans every outbreak.  If not COVID 19 then another strain or new pandemic would potentially cause the business too much harm.

The changes for us our simple we reduce the size of our on company premises staff to essentially corporate officers, infrastructure that supports operations and corporate offices needed to run any business.   This has given us the opportunity to also expand our sales teams.

Lastly, in these changing times and unprecedented election and risk factors to business should a liberal candidate gets elected in Nov 2020 we feel this change is warranted.

SKY Telecom LLC has released the details of their annual Christmas party. Christmas is a magical time, and the growing firm has announced they celebrate in style on the 15th of December.

SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Dec. 21, 2019 - PRLog -- SKY Telecom LLC has released the details of their annual Christmas party. Christmas is a magical time, and the growing firm has announced they celebrate in style on the 15th of December. The events team at the firm have announced they have hired out exclusive restaurant. The team will hold its annual awards ceremony where top performers can recognize their achievements throughout the year. Dress code has been announced as 'Great American Casual' everyone has already set to work on arranging their outfit.

90% of businesses hold a Christmas party of some kind. SKY Telecom believes it is a vital party of running a well-rounded company. Managing director Leeds believes firms can't ignore the need to host an event. "Everyone at SKY Telecom has worked hard this year; we use our Christmas party to celebrate our successes and set standards for the upcoming year. We consider our team to be the driving force behind our success, and we look to boost our workforce as we expand. I'm convinced our company culture is one of the fundamental qualities that separate us from our competition and enable us to retain our top performers," Leeds said in a recent interview.

SKY Telecom LLC share their tips on how to host a prosperous Christmas party.

SKY Telecom encourages organizers to invite suggestions for the event. By encouraging engagement during the planning phase employees and contractors are more likely to boast publicly about the party and the brand. In turn, this will promote loyalty, boost productivity and enhance engagement in the workplace. With a team bragging about their workplace, it will make recruitment and expansion easier as the company culture is promoted organically.

To guarantee ROI, businesses should look to include as many people as possible. By holding a poll, organizers can allow people to select a preferred date.

SKY Telecom understands that not all businesses can spend massively on Christmas parties. However, there are three details to regard when organizing an event - refreshments, décor, and atmosphere. Some companies may choose an organized event where meals, décor, and entertainment are all taken care of.

The firm is expanding in 2020 and is on the lookout for fresh talent. Their HR manager is welcoming inquiries through their website. Book an appointment today at Open Booking Link (https://5d17c71b5073c.site123.me/contact-now)

SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Nov. 30, 2019 - PRLog -- SKY Telecom LLC— the Call Center & Connection Network— has announced the closure of its private round investment, raising $7.9 million. The round also included contributions from angel investors in the UK, India, Israel, Asia, and the European Union.

"We are setting new standards for performance in the call center space," says Willard Mccusker CEO of SKY Telecom LLC. "Everything changes for decentralized applications when you have a 3 orders of magnitude improvement in throughput and execution speed."

Focusing on an innovative network scaling technology called center crowding, SKY Telecom is a leader in the next-generation of high-throughput smart connection platforms blossoming in the call center ecosystem. Call Center Crowding is a well-known concept for horizontal partitioning of databases, and several firms, including SKY Telecom, are pushing the boundaries of applying this new concept to public call centers as a means to increase their capacity.

SKY Telecom has developed a breaking edge technology for call centers, known as "Adaptive State Communications," which enables the call center to rival centralized cloud call centers without sacrificing the security of clients.

Founded in late 2017, SKY Telecom produced a prototype of their concept in July 2018, including their new center format and new consensus design which achieved more than 25K calls in real-world conditions. Subsequently, SKY Telecom released its inaugural SKYNET in May 2019, exceeding all expectations and including implementations of several new technologies like McCusker CMS, signatures.

"SKY Telecom's outstanding contributions rest on two foundational building blocks: Adaptive State Connections and Secure Service Programs, enabling fast and secure decentralized networks," said Chris Leeds, the Head of Marketing & Sales. "The team has a clear go-to-market strategy to achieve mass-adoption. We're excited to be working together to push McCusker CMS technology towards mass-adoption."

Moving forward, SKY Telecom will focus on building tools that enable developers to easily build on top of its highly scalable call center systems, and enable users to easily discover and use these next-generation tools.
